Ya, I agree with Zoner...It's just prefrence...I remember like, a year ago on these forums, the same argument went down...TTRL VS SPR...It's totally prefrence. The way you look at war.

Stalingrad is good, except that you have to read the damn subtitles..same with Das Boot.

Anybody in here seen Cross of Iron? With James Coburn. Ok movie. Great book.

Thin red line was the worst movie on war ive seen in a long time. Windtalkers was way better than the thin red line ed:

Damn! I hated Windtalkers. It was so damn unrealistic. It made war look so gung-ho and easy like the Japanese was all magnets for bullets. Too John-Woo.
The thin red Line was not all about action but really about what the veterans had to go through during war, the emotion the tension and how humans turned into savages and animals. Humanity was destroyed. Thats why I liked it so much cause it portraits how the soldiers went thorugh psychologically during war.
