I was wondering if its possible to write text where dm messages appear like: You killed Klop?

I want to bind something and I want to know if its on or off.

I dont want to modify that text!!!
I want to write my own!!

When I click on the F8 key I want to write for example "My mod has been activated" where you see the text on the left of the screen not the top!

If I do what you are saying: I add my text in Localization.txt and when I press F8 the text I have added will be shown? No...

I know if I want to modify text its in Localization.txt but I want to add my own text...

Editing localisation.txt only allows you to alter the text that appears for standard mohaa actions ... like when when someone dies etc etc

If you want a custom message to appear when a certain action is done during a map, then you need to learn the scripting commands for printing messages.

you can print anywhere you like on the screen, and it's even possible to get text into the messaging cue that appears at the top (where people type stuff and the kill messages appear).

you can get messages to appear like.

Klop placed a bomb on the flak88.
