Default MICROSOFT Visual C++ Runtime error ?? - 12-01-2002, 12:42 PM

I get this error once and awhile while im playing MOHAA , any idea how to fix it. I've used ADAWARE to get rid of any spyware but still get this error. A reboot will fix it for awhile.

Sorry Kilroy, I have never seen this error when playing MOH nor have I herd of anyone else getting this error.

Does this pop up in a window and your MOH shuts down? or do you get a BSOD with this message.

Any no cd cracks running or how about any mods? if so try removing them first and see if you still get this error. almost sounds like a mod trying to call out to more then just the games scripting.

good luck and let us know some more info please

A Runtime error is a random occurance.

I've seen a C++ error on a machine that I built from scratch, and i've seen it on a machine with a P166. It's basically just a conflict on your machine with other software.

I, fortuneatly, can't recall getting it on my WinXP box. My best suggestion is to keep all of your PC parts up to date, including getting the Critital Updates for WinXP. Unless you want to upgrade to WinXP Pro, there really isn't a 100% answer to fix the problem. I've gone fishing on TechNet numerous times for this issue, only to come up with my worm bitten off the hook, d00d.

thanks Joe and rudedog I've searched all over and have seen people complain of this error. It is random and may be associated with spyware or other shareware that may conflict with an application that is running (MOHAA) on my machine. I will try disableing Norton AV and use adaware to see if this helps. Joe type in the error msg in GOOGLE there is plenty of talk on this topic but its different for everyone.
