Default Can't uninstall MOHAA? - 12-08-2002, 12:44 AM

I've been having lock-ups recently and I'd like to try running a fresh installation of MOHAA. But when I use the uninstall program, both through "add-remove programs" and the provided uninstaller, I can't remove anything?

Anyone ever had this problem or know how to fix?

I don't get an error, like an unistall log can't be found or anything... as soon as I click the "uninstall" option from the menu, it instantly pops up a diaglog box saying the uninstall is complete... but everthing is still there?!?

Also, when trying to install over the current files, it also instantly says "installation now complete." First time I've ever run into a program that wouldn't let you uninstall from the menu... hmm

Go to tools , folder options , view , and check view hidden and system folders . Now look in program files for a folder called installshield Instalation information . Go through each folder you find there . Keep double clicking setup files until you find one to install MOHAA . Once you find the right folder delete it . That should do it for you . I Have XP pro too and that was what I had to do to reinstall . Good luck .
