Charlie company of the 2nd Ranger Battalion landed in Higgins, as did a few others, because the LCA's were fitted with a rocket launcher with a grappling(sp?) hook attached so the Rangers could climb Pointe Du Hoc, HOWEVER... Charlie company DID land in Higgins boats because they weren't going to Pointe Du Hoc, they went to open the Viervelle exit with the 29th.
