My dad's friend had one. I felt like I held a piece of history right there. Kinda heavy at first but I got used to it. He had about 7 clips for it. He also had a SMLE(Short Magazine Lee-Enfield) God, I loved all that. biggrin: Also got to hold a Magnum.
Heh, cool. In army cadets we got to shoot SMLE's, and when I get my gun papers, my grandad will give me his Kar98k, I've already went to the range with it, beautiful piece of machinery. Lol, I can just imagine hunting with a garand; paff paff paff paff paff paff paff paff PING!
The cool thing is he also offered to take me to a gun-range sometime. You know I'll be all over that opportunity. cool:
He also had a Springfield Rifle from the 1800s, breach loading.

[quote="Airborne Butters":7c57c]I'm hoping to buy a Thompson when I turn 18, but I'm not sure what the laws about full-autos are here.[/quote:7c57c]
You live in Canada? Because I'm pretty sure it's illegal in almost every state to purchase or own a full auto weapon. Actually, I can't think of a state that allows it except maybe Nevada.
Wow gj. I'll be purchasing a Blank-Firing Colt and an M1 Carbine in the near future. Sweet those guns are
Where can you purchase those? Maybe at gun shows? I'd like to get my hand's on a real BAR, or even an M1 Garand. But one that just shoots blanks wouldn't be too bad either.
