Default game pads for PC question - 12-29-2002, 05:20 PM

Hi All.

Newbie here. I have only been playing since Thanksgiving and still fumble around with the keyboard and mouse just typing let alone trying to hop lean skip jump etc... while playing online.

Is there a game pad that I can use to play MOHAA and Spearhead on my PC?

Thanks for any help

Believe it or not, the mouse/keyboard combo gives you the best control of your soldier, in my opinion. I would suggest that you keep practicing with those and it will not seem awkward after awhile.

it would be hard to play unless it had 2 joystaks cause u need 1 to move and 1 to aim it hould have to be like a ps2 controloe or an xbox i would use the keyboard it is easier i have played on a game pad it is kinda hard cause u dont have ans many buttons so u must reach over to the keyboeard to do something that is not on the pad and welcome to the forums

bro I could tell u how to do it, I tried it today, o m gosh a pain in the ass, actually if, "IF" I could get all the buttons right it is a little easier to move strafing wise but there arent even buttons on the controller to use all enabled with default keyboard and mouse. Not to mention u have to use a program and assign a keystoke to each button on the controller then goto MOH and set ur keys in the options. TOO MUCH I tell ya, so goodluck in whatever path u take.

ok guys; i'll tell you about this. you can import it from russia because they have made one from there. If you dont wanna import one from russia, wait a while for [url=http://maccentral.macworld.com/news/0203/19.p5.php:69044]this[/url:69044] to come out.

As i said in a reply to Glory's thread in General discussion, i played it at a friends house, and it it ONLY uses one hand to move, and shoot and all that stuff.

Its great! Go get it when it comes out... I will, because i dont wannainport from Russia, but my friend is crazy, he'll do anything for fun.
