[quote="Airborne Butters":34a98]I saw and it was alright. I'd give it maybe a 6 outta 10.
I really didn't understand many of the charecters or the story, but the battle scenes weren't what I expected. MY freinds are obbssed with it and were all like "Yea dude the battle scene is aweseom..." But it was weak. After the movie me and this chick, a freinds freind, got in a heated argument. She was all like Legoas (or whoever the guy with blond chick hair and a bow) is awesome blah blah blah. I tole her the greatest person ever is Speirs from BoB cause all the shit he did was real! Also, I mean the Ivansgod tower place with the long beared wizard is like all mighty, but it gets beatin by trees....yikes....[/quote:34a98]
OK, why my response did not post, I don't know.
Butters, you can't compare BOB with Lord of The Rings. It's like comparing apples and oranges. One is an historical drama, the other is pure fantasy. You're supposed to suspend disbelief, dude. biggrin:
Oh. . .gotta love those elfen archers. They would make awesome snipers. biggrin:

Yes, I saw it last week, amazing. I'm currently working on a Helm's Deep level for Warcraft 3 biggrin: I also love the game on PS2. I like it when after the 2nd to last level, (Helm's Deep-Breached wall) Legolas goes up to Gimli and says,
"Never have I seen such a fine axe Master Dwarf"
Gimli: "Nor have I seen such a bow....But when I hit 'em, they don't get back up"
I don't remember if that was in the movie, I have to watch it several times to get the right dialogue. The plains of Rohan was depicted well like in the book, although not one word matched what Aragorn says to Eohan in the movie as the book, and they weren't banished either...

Gimley: You could have picked a better spot
Legolas:Would you like me to describe the battle or get you a box?
Toss me ... Don't tell the elf.

Gandalf the wank -

Ok, gandalf is a wanker-spank. He cannot fight, and when he does he ends up dying. Plus, where the hell was he with all those cavarlymen before the battle started? I'll tell u... wanking it around. Thusly, my point is that Gandalf is a WANK!!!!

He cant fight? I believe he defeated the Balrog. And where was he with all those cavarlymen before the battle? I believe the term is "far away" its not like they were hiding behind a hill, he had to go find and tell them to come with him thus taking awhile....next time you see the movie, see it when your not on crack.
