WEll you know in WW2 there were SEVERAL different calsses of grenades, the one featured here is the good ole pineapple, this is a Fragmentation grenade and its main purpose was to fling shrapnel aroung a confined area to maim or kill all in the room. The HE grenade was smooth, and a little bigger and was used in open areas such as fields.the HE grenade was pretty much useless in house to house fighting as it would blow walls and floors to hell.AS for the Bounce problem,I think it will be fixed in the full version, but I guess a grenade would bounce like that if you tossed it like a major-leauge pitcher...lol...All of you who say you have been near a grenade and it didn't kill you,and then been across the room and you died, well remember this is a Fragmentation grenade and the shrapnel probably spread out a bit, being closer doesn't mean you are safer, just a little lucky not to have been hit by a big enough piece to kill you.
