Yeah, you can find CADPAT on ebay, but if you'll get ripped off.
Dave's Military Surplus INC. in New Westminster, BC, has got new, unused, CADPAT combat pants, but they're kinda expensive.

Ok back a couple pages before Loners crazy Idea about N. Korea declaring war on us Pfc. Green said this [quote:2dbcd]All due respect to your recruiter but...I think not. I'm sure a special ops team will be sent for Saddam but our large force will be used. It cost a huge amount of money to send and sustain forces into the field. Why would we load to Marine assault ships with all the weapons and ammo they would need if they are just for show? Plus the fact that we cant just go in take out Saddam and leave. We have to put in a force to keep control of the country so that it does not turn into total chaos. So I think your recruiters theory is plausible, will it be done that way? no.[/quote:2dbcd] Yes actualyl the USA would spend millions or even billions to put on a show for sadam. They have always used "Shows" to not only scare the enemy but to have him relocate his troops. We did this in the Gulf war. The USA had a huge naval force waiting in the Gulf looking liek they were gonan invade. Sadam sent his troops to the shore and the USA rolled in the back door with tanks and blew their army away. And I just learned this today from one of my fellow historians N.Korea and hte rest of the countries involved the the Korean war have yet to sign a treaty to end the Korean war. Therefore we are still technically at war but under a sieze fire agreement. This is one of the reasons everyone in the White house is pissed off that N.Korea has a nuke program. Hmm that was long Thats all I have to say

I said that in response to, interestedviewers post in which he said that all of our major forces were for show and would not be used, we would only send in special ops and get Saddam. I agree we have used "shows" many times and we are doing it now. I am sure spec. ops will be used but we will use our major forces i.e. the Army, Navy and Marines in Iraq as well.

Dont get me wrong Im not saying we wont use the others either. I was just stating that we have used shows before. And we have already used some. About 2-4 weeks ago Our army forces just outside of the Iraqui boarder conducted the largest live fire exercises since The Gulf war. THat was sure to piss off Sadam. now Im not saying these forces are only used for Shows. If a war does flare up they will be the troops we hear about going into Iraq and doing some major fighting. So I guess the best way to put it is we are both right biggrin:
And In a way I think Loner is right too oOo: . But the lag messed with his brain cause the war was declared a while ago...about 50 years ago biggrin:

Canadians Are Dumb, Pathetic, And Tiny? heh
Nah, dunno. Any CADPAD is on ebay, I looked it up.
I have a good military mag that sells all vintage stuff, even weapons like M1 Carbines, KAR98's, pretty cool. I think it's like HQ Magazine or something.

There is CADPAT on ebay, I looked it up, but everything is very expensive on there.
As I said before, there is a surplus shop in New Westminster, British Columbia, Canada, that has a bunch of light weight CADPAT BDU Pants.

Hmm, next time I go to New West I might check it out. I have alot of camo that I use for hunting, paintball and just being outside. I talked to a guy who was in Cavalry Regiment in Edmonton, he got me a CADPAT boonie cap and those things blend VERY well with the woods in our area, so I might buy a full uniform, besides I think it is time to replace my German flecktarn and US woodland.

well you are right i went to ebay and saw for myself that they were selling it. I have a feeling that they are reservist's. Also a message came out from the government saying that if these people were caught they would be punished severely. There is new tecnolagy in the fabric that makes them absorbe infa-red. That technology is what the goverment wants to keep a secret. If i ever caught someone selling them i would turn them in because by selling them they are putting fellow service men and women at risk.

Really, so I guess the pants at the surplus shop would be made from a diffrent material then the official issue ones then, I guess.

Hmmm, cool. I bet the ones that are being sold at the surplus store might be just regular clothes. I never knew that about the CADPAT uniforms, I bet that's why they're so pricey.

Yeah, I think there made out of the same cloth as the old, single color OD uniforms (which I have), in which case, they are extremly over priced, they cost around $60-$70, and I paid about $24-$30 for a set of OD Green BDU's at a shop in Surrey.
