Default Just a question about going to the cinemas.......... - 01-17-2003, 10:31 AM

I was just wondering how many of you people like to watch the cinemas with quite a lot of people in it? Doesn't it give alot of "atmosphere" and makes the film more enjoyable or do you prefer watching when theres not much people in the cinema.

Sorry its a stupid question but I'm just curious.

Half-full or more is cool. I like audience reaction, whether it be hysterical laughter at a comedy or shocked gasps and jumps at horror flicks.

Although, I watched the 1st Harry Potter in a totally empty theatre (I was the only one there) and it rocked!

Took my son to see pokemon on the release day, god that was a mistake, we ended up sneaking in the exit and standing for an hour and a half.

The worse hour and a half of my life swordfight:

Depends. Films like Star Wars, Lord of the Rings, Matrix Reloaded *DROOL*, are films I would see with a jam-packed theatre. But comedies are the worst. Some people laugh too much, and you miss the dialog.

As long as there are no dumb people, and no god-damned kids. Kids laugh at the dumbest shit. So do dumb-people.

The emptier the better...especially if I am with a chick. Seriously though, I like to kick back and take up a couple of seats and if it's packed I might be forced to sit next to some freak.

I wont go to any film unless its an 18, that way their are fewer problems. not many old people go to 18s so there is not much constant coughing or going to the toilet, definatly no kids crying or 15 year olds pissing around.
I prefer them to be mostly full though, a better atmosphere, except their should be a rule that all bags of sweets and stuff should be opened before the film starts.
