Ok,.....going to go over this real quickly so that people understand.

1. You upload speed is very important in hosting games. You must have a high upload speed like a T1 connection or better to host "mega" games.

2. your connection speed means nothing to the server if the server is on a cable modem hosting more than 6 people. Ever tried to get on a web page that is getting hammered...it's slow hunh...but you still have a fast connect...because the server is overloaded.

It would be nice if cable hosters made 6 max games...but that sucks. It would also be nice if we had more T1 and T3 and better connections.

My clan will be posting a T1 connection today and we will also have a 100 megabit colocation server coming live in a few days. These servers will host 30 people no problem.

This would also happen in CS as well...if people hosted on a cable/dsl modem with a small upload speed.

Remember cable is like 128/2000 setup....great for downloading sucks for hosting.
