But That wouldnt happen to me. I am unable to pull off looking like a fag Not that I want to!. But Im just too cool cool: lol. Im probably just gonna spend the extra$$$$$ and get both. It just means Ill have to work it off this summer or sell one of my crappier guitars

when I started i already knew how to read music so that was a big help, but I really hate it when someone forces me to practice, i just start to play like shit. I've got a couble pieces im working on now, one's a really sweet jazz piece. I'll see if I can't find it(played by someone good of coarse)

Get a guitar, its a bit more of an investment than...memory.

I started playing guitar out of jelousy. Hendrix, guns n roses, zeppelin, maiden, quo, queen. amongst many others are my inspiration.
I wanted to learn to play like them, and so far i can, except for hendrix. noone will ever play exactly like hendrix.
green eggs, i know what you mean about being made to practice. i could never be doing with that so i am self taught. I couldnt read music well but i picked up tab dead easy. sort of came naturally. ive been playing for 3 years now. only thing i regret is i wish i started earlier than 17.

I just started this year, I took at 4 leasons, just to learn how to read tab. The rest will come with practice I guess.

I went to a Guitar Store today and looked at some that I might be interested in. And Believe it or not I tried an Epi Les Paul. I hated it! ed: I also tried a Schecter Hellcat. It was pretty nice but Still not exactly what I am looking for. I want to go to another place and try out a Fender Tornado. They're pricy but I found one with dings and scratches for $399! Saw one today for $1200 retail. I actually am now more concerened about what Guitar to get! I DONT want a Strat, Tele, or Les Paul. Everyone has one of those and I want some thing origional.

Thats what happens. Bassists are so hard to find. My band went through several before one practice! I finally got pissed off and Bought one for our LEad Singer. Now hes our basist happy: Problem Solved. We now have a couple songs.
