I just went to 3dRealms and they said the min requirements for Max Payne are

450mhz proccessor
96 mb ram
16 meg video card.

this is good news for us because this game looks (visually) better than Allied Assault so the min requirements for us shouldnt be all that high.

Ah i did not realise this... i never heard of anything that silly. You should be able to run it at 800x600 and with med detail. Sorry everyone never mind.

Minimum systems are the absolute bare minimum, with everything turned off that the company can just so that it will run at a playable frame rate and still be fun, even if it looks bad.

Recommended system has different definitions for different games and companies, but it usually means something along the lines of medium detail and decent framerate.

With these minimum requirements you'll be able to play in 640x480 with all settings either on LOW or OFF with a choppy framerate.

If this is adequately satisfying in your opinion, then good

My personal opinion on minimum requirements : these should be the MINIMUM to be able to play with a NICE framerate, a DECENT resolution (800x600) and MEDIUM settings on.

What they give is bullshit..
