Ok, i know theres a whole blending tutorial, but that isnt with photshop 7, which is what i have. How do you blend images using photoshop 7. All answers are appreciated, thanks a ton.

uh actaully that blending tutorial that zoner did is with photoshop 7 and I tried his tutorial, and it wokred for me ...thanks zone biggrin:

If we're talking about the same one, that's my tutorial, not Zoner's. I used Photoshop 6 for that, but it works identically in 7.

alright, well, sorry for being retarded and not realizing that. But, ok, so i'm following the tutorial, and i have what i want selected, and i go to layer, but everything is greyed out. What can i do to add a new layer mask under the layer tab?

alright, i figured it out. I just cant add a layer mask to the background. Is that the case for everyone else, or am i doing something wrong?
