While I've only recently registered for these boards, I've been in the MOHAA community since it's inception, I'm not trolling, just I avoid a lot of the immature gibberish that surrounds a lot of the conversations on here, MOHAA is a damn fine game, and I'm sick of people like you who would only serve to tarnish it's reputation! Don't believe I'm not a troll, watch for me, alliedassualt.net, ea.com, ve3d.com and so on, anything MOHAA related I'm there, CIAO, and may you rot if you do cheat!

Matter of fact i Live 1 block from the CO and i get 1.49mb/s, I ping very good on them both. Was playing just now on the team dm... [o2]Morph was there... If yall want another member who will play alot and host alot among other things.. gimme a shout.

Since this cheat is clearly not a 3rd party hack or packet editing, I'm pretty confident 2015 with isolate and nix this one soon. Keep the faith guys.

The sad fact of cheating paranoia (whether accurate or not) is that somewhere along the lines people will lose judgement of who is really cheating and who is just better than you.

I notice a few players accuse of cheating habitually when they are beaten, and I also notice on this thread a couple of players who have been kicked/banned because they had a good run and got accused of cheating.

If I ever get kicked because I'm suspected of cheating, then it's their loss. I won't play on that server again.

This God-mode cheat seems easy enough to check on. If someone is suspected of using it, go into spec mode and watch them play for a few rounds. Have blood mode on to be sure.

When they get hit, do they lose health, or do they suddenly gain health without having run over a health pack?

Pretty easy really.

Aimbots aren't too hard to spot through spectator, either, as the two aimbots I have seen (both through demos of another player using one) show clearly that the crosshair follows targets whether you can see them or not.

It's a dead give-away to see the player aiming at a wall, follow it to the end and see a target magically appear there. Consistently.

It's different from that same player hearing his enemy coming first and waiting with his crosshair at the corner for them to stick their head out. You don't have to hear a target to know they are coming either, you could have seen them go in one way, which means that eventually they will come out another.

Some people are clever enough to work this out through experience. Then again some others are equally clever and don't do the expected. It depends how you look at it.

Same goes for wall-hacking.

Snap-to-target over 100 degrees to a target you didn't previously see is also a dead give-away.

It's slightly different from flick-shooting, which is just spinning the mouse about fast to aim at a target. A bit like guessing with style, only if you practice it you can get quite good at it.

You still need to be aware of your target though. Aimbots take away the need for this awareness.

Usually, someone who cheats is a crap player and sticks out like a sore thumb, anyway.

All these cheats can be spotted in spec mode.

I've still yet to see one being used though.

A fix is underway. Yes you can in fact cheat on MP games, even without the SP cheats command line parameter.

For me it's like a government knowing that a nuke would explode in 3 days. People will figure it out eventually, but while we're working on it (ie get the bomb squad 2015 to fix it), we don't want to leak any word on that. And we are fairly sure that some CNN will let the cat out anytime anyway, as Innoxx did on this thread.

So, cheat IS possible, but not for long. And it has nothing to do with the server settings.

Ive only used it once on a server to get rid of a spamming kiddie who was accusing my wife and I and several others who were killing him of cheating.

I just got off a server where two ppl out of about 20 were most definately cheating. They were using god mode. It is so obvious when they take multiple rockets in the face etc. & don't die. I was giving the server admin a hard time telling him to turn cheats off. He asked me how & shiat, I didn't know what to tell him.. :

Surely there's a way to turn this crap off in the console isn't there?

I was doing some searching here on the web on this machine while I was still on the server so I could help him out, & found sv_cheats 0, but he tried it & it didnt seem to work.

If there is a command to do it what is it?

set sv_cheats 0?

I cannot believe there isnt a way. 2015 really fked up here bigtime if there isnt. If they're working on a patch, put a little one out asap to stop this shiit!!!

btw, these lamer's names were "god" & "undead_immortal". I'm sure they were too cowardly to be using their real nicks though..

Just had to get it off my chest... It was a good server too other than that, wasnt dedicated but I'm not shittting the guy had over 20 people on there with hardly any lag.. Which is refreshing... What a shame.. Cheats..
