I only just came back to playing MoH recently and noticed this "cheat detector" and really wondered about its accuracy. I presume it checks each user's dumpuser result and has a list of well-known pk3 files that contain skins and other mods?

That can't be 100% accurate, as most of us know.

I suppose it gets rid of the odd skin junky who doesn't even realise they're using skins that would be considered to be cheating, or that they have a file named nofog.pk3 (or similar), but other than that it seems to be fairly dodge (English slang for unreliable).

Well worth highlighting, in my opinion.

Where do you stand if you can't trust the anti-cheat programs?

yes that right m8...thanks..the only files i have in main that r not standard r custom maps and 1 of my scope pk3`s and the compass i was testing at the time not finished obviously.

Strik0r that's enough mouhing off to Joe, it's getting old. I see you are pissed about him catching up to you in the post counts. Well, if he spams then what do you do? At least he's a mod, so he contributes to a percentage of the posts he makes. All you do is bring negativity to everywhere you go. I have tolerated you and joked around with you many times but this act is getting old. I don't know how Joe just brushes everything you people say about him like it's a joke, if it was me I would have just banned your asses and moved on. Doesn't that say something about him? Seriously, I am pretty heated about what happened to this board. Maybe all the spammers (ok you call them vets) should just go to teh vets forum and talk 1337 sp34k all friggin day to each other and how everyone is an ass except you and ED and Tripper and blah blah blah. Maybe you were just kickin their asses so bad they needed an excuse to get rid of you, i know thats happened to me before.... know when you jump down from something and you cant jump or duck until it happens again? they thought it was a cheat and kicked me several times, although i think it was because i wouldnt let them get close to the town in "The Hunt" .Good old sweet spot with my m1.

has anyone ever been acused of useing a aim bot when they get more then 5 head shoots in a row even thou ur useing a sniper rifle?
i know i have been they kept saying i was using aim bot to kill them even thou there is no aim bot no one has ever seen a aim bot file but insest that they exsist when they die more then 5 times by the same person

Yeh, I have many times and so has many others. Blame CS for that.

The thing is, even an aimbot wouldn't guarantee 100% hit ratio, due to the physics of the game (That is, if you move the shot will deviate from centre).

Some people just cannot bring themselves to believe that someone else is better than them to such a degree that they're embarassed by it.

And you're right, there is no such thing as a hack that aims for the head or any other body part, not for MoH.

I truly believe it's impossible to make (otherwise it would have been done by now). This is mostly due to the complete lack of support available for altering MoH code. In a small way this is a blessing, although the graphics drivers are changeable (hence wallhacks being available).
