Electric. They shoot faster than gas. Only problem is you gotta charge the battery up once in awhile.

how long does a bettery usually last? And also, if there are 2 of the same RIFLE, like a KAR98, which you have to cock after every shot, should I get the gas or electric version?
And look at this site for WWII airsoft, the MP44 is $1000!

[quote="Jumpin Jack Flash":ce8e6]I've never played airsoft so I don't know if I am entitled to this, but I think that paying over $100 for a gun that shoots little plastic BBs is a waste of money. And the one's without orange tips may "look cool" but they are too realistic, if a cop shoots you, they will most likely shoot at you.[/quote:ce8e6]
First off, your an idiot. Second the whole point of arisoft or paintball is that rather than just shooting rounds at nothing you can shoot people. It adds a tactical element and for some reason its exhilerating to pull the trigger and "kill" someone. Then meet them off to the side and talk about the game, the sweet moves pulled off, the incredible shot, whatever. Then go do it again.
I have never seen a cop at a paintball field, or in the woods. Unless they were playing, and then they just say how bad ass it looks and ask to shoot it. Unless your a complete dumbass, like i know some of you are. Then realistic weapons are fine, why you ask? Because if you only use them for there intended purpose, and dont go waiving it around your school, workpalce, or middle of the street, then why the hell would a cop have a reason to pull a gun on you?
Dont be a complete fucking idiot and give the cops a reason to be around and bad shit wont happen. God damn you paranoid fucks ruin everything. "Oh it looks real, he could get shot, i'll protect him by making him paint it orange". Leave me alone, i know how to take care of myself, if some dumb fuck gets shot its his own fault.

^^^I agree^^^
Why cant people be responsible for themselves anymore. Are we, as a whole, too dumb to know the difference in right and wrong or even basic common sense any more?

Wish they had this stuff in Australia, would be fucking cool. Paintball is ok, just doesnt feel the same as holding a lifelike weapon.

Actually the d-boys mod their guns so much that it can't really be classified like they'll start off with the car-15, add a match barrel, an M16A2 bolt mech., aimpoints, taclights, nade launchers, hair triggers, integral silencers, camo and whole shitload of other goodies.
