I just wanna hear what you guys think about the way bush is leading this country and how he is dealing with the current threats of war. I personally think he is doing a good job but it seems that the people around me beg to differ. they said clinton was a better president... bull..

From an Ouside point-of-view, Bush seems pretty inept. Aside from all his 'Misquotes' and all that jazz, he hasn't done a very good job of pretending Iraq has a chance to get out of a war. And whatsmore, i think the fact he was President during 9/11 has bolstered his approval rating more than it deserves.

Bush I believe was a president who was voted to fix internal problems but since 9/11 he now has to cope with external ones and his very bad at that one.

I think Bush is doing an okay job. Me being probably one of the most conservative people on this board, I am disappointed with Bush's constant delays of the war. WE should have been at war in January and gotten it over by now. Instead, Bush is trying to please the Republicans, the DEmocrats, the UN, the French, the Germans, and that is impossible to do. The Liberals said "Okay Bush, you need a resolution." Did that. "Okay Bush, you need approval from Congress." Already had that. "Okay Bush, you need another resolution from the UN, because we think so." Did that. "Okay Bush, you need to talk to the French and Germans, because obviously since two countries out of 50 think we're wrong, the U.S. is a terrible nation and shouldn't go to war." Get the picture? 14 months ago Bush gave Hussein 2 weeks to disarm or face military action. BS. It makes us look like pussies. As far as economic status is concerned, I'm no expert. All I know is everytime tax cuts have been issued, the economy is stable, just like Reagan did in the 80s. ONe thing is for sure, we are a hell of a lot better than a 26% interest rate when Carter was President.
Now to compare to Clinton. One paragraph can't describe how stupid he is, especially considering I have to go to school here in a minute. Clinton, with Carter, are the main reasons North Korea has nuclear technology today. In the early 70s, before his Presidency, Carter went over to N. Korea to discuss ways they would not invade S. Korea again. So his genius plan was to give them nuclear energy to help produce goods and food, as they were severely lacking in that region. He said that they could have it if they threw away the excess plutonium. Yeah, right, like they're gonna do that. Jump ahead and Clinton decided its time to sell some nuclear technology to China and North Korea...in exchange for personal campaign money. How the hell do you think he got to be a millionaire? Certainly not by President, they only make 180,000 a year. Clinton sold over 30 years worth of secrets. Great Job, traitor.
Now if Gore was President, I could just see it now:
September 11, 2001, Washington, D.C., President's address.
First of all, I would like to thank Osama bin Laden, for opening our eyes to what we have done to the Middle Eastern countries. I would like to apologize, to Osama bin Laden, on the fact that obviously we have pained your people to a degree that is unhealable. I would also like to state that the U.S. will try everything in its power to provide bin Laden and his people with the best supplies and ration available. Yada Yada Yada...

thats full of shit the reason N.korea has nukes is because we were not watching them as closly as we should have been and also they were compeld to develop them when Bush said "N.korea, Iraq[someother countrys] are a part of an axis of evil" if your country was said by the most powerfull nation on earth to be on an axis of evil your going to what to make some wepons to put your self at the bargining table. and also that that country that acused you has been at war with you for 50+ years because they never signed a peace treaty then your going to feel realy compled to make some bombs and fast
the tax cuts arnt helping the econmy* because hows bush going to go to war with no money to pay for it?! the nations det has almost dubboled under bush. Cliton paid some of the det back witch is more than I can say for bush. the tax cuts with continued lended of money will cause inflation and make the US dollor worth nothing

i read somewhere that the US's debt has gone up $100 billion since bush came into office. that was a month ago i heard that too, after the war its gonna go up even higher. It really gonna leave a mess for the next president after bush finally gets da boot.
