I very much doubt a single American cares at all what the World thinks of them. I think it's sad that this is happening. My opinion of Americans in general is no different, I do have lots of American friends and I'm not blinded by propaganda and clichés into hating an entire nation. Otherwise I'd hate "the French", too.
