Try unistalling the drivers and just use the built in MS drivers. I run Win2K Pro and the Mouseman wheel optical(the funky shaped one) and had nothing but problems with it working in games when using the Logitech drivers. For one I couldn't use the middle button and one of the other buttons at the same time, they would cancel each other out.

Once I uninstalled the drivers, everything worked great. The drawback is that you can't configure the buttons in windows for various functions. They have default functionality assigned, i.e. the thumb button is set to Internet Back, which is what I wanted it set to anyhow.

Unfortunately the Logitech driver support sucks. And the drivers are crappy so I wouldn't hold my breath on the issues getting fixed. I already went around in circles with their tech support.

Hope this helps.

Try this small program. It will edit your reg to allow the Logitech wheel to work in quake engine based games.

It worked for me. Its called "game_whl.reg"
