Default Sig Question? - 03-28-2003, 01:31 AM

Can you make a sig at a higher image size then shrink it to the preferred size easily? Or do you start with a canvas of the preffered size? And if you start with the bigger size what is the easy way to shrink it with out it looking distorted/ Thanks...

It's best to make it at the regular size to begin with. Don't start off with a huge canvas. If you have something you want to resize, just go into the image menu to image size and change it in the dialog box. That's in photoshop, but it should work the same in almost any other program.

Thanks. I just thought there was a tool that squeezed it down without it looking squished. But Ill do it that way.

You can also resize an image within the sig by holding down the shift key when you use the move tool (photoshop elements). Holding the shift key down maintains the proportions so that the picture doesn't get "squished".

Well yeah, now we're getting into specifics. If you want to resize the whole image, then you do what I said before. If you want to resize a layer, then you hold down shift while click-dragging the corner anchors of the layer bounding box.
