Oh my friend - you are grossly guilty of posting some spam yourself. Thing is, there are threads that stay ON TOPIC, but are closed at mods discretion. Now, far be it for me to question a mods actions which is something I would NEVER do, but closing a thread because you THINK it's run its course - dirty pool mister, dirty pool.
