PROS:
==================
Ergonomic - Comfortable grip, with ditched-in side for thumb rest. Very fancy and relaxing style.
Wireless Optical - Two of the best wonders in mice today - wire-free roaming, and glideball-free, for faster performance in mouse movement.
Rechargeable batteries - IMO, the BEST feature of this product. My cordless optical died every three weeks from batteries, but this one comes with 2 AA rechargeables, and a docking station.
Buttons Galore - 7 BUTTONS! All with great features, including:
(a)back & foward internet thumb buttons
(b) scroll up & down buttons
(c) sub-menu button (Same concept as using ALT-TAB to switch through open windows, at a touch of a button)
Gamers rejoice! - The newest drivers from Logitech FINALLY make ALL mouse buttons compatible in DirectX applications!
CONS:
===============================
Infared Reach - My mouse had trouble communicating with the docking station only 3 feet away. My older Logitech Cordless Optical Mouse could be used from my bed, a good 12 feet from the remote station.
AC Adapter - Not a big hassle, but the docking station requires its own power supply to recharge the mouse.
No Lefty support - Exactly that, right-handers only.
Folks, all in all, this is the best mouse I've used ever. I'm actually considering buying one strictly for work.

i hate to quote the whole thing but what the helll, why not
im use=ing the logitech mx500 mouse, and i must say the mx500 and mx700 have got to be the best mice out right now. for the people who are still using cheap ass dumpster diving mouse, throw them back in the dumpster and spend some money on the logitech mx500-700 mouse
i am soo happy with my mx500, im thinking of geting a mx700, but with the con's that joe has listed i think i will just stay with my mx500

I can highly recommend the Logitech Wireless Keyboard Navigator. I've had the thing since christmas 2001, and I STILL haven't had to change the batteries on it! The mouse that comes with it, the Logitech Cordless mouse, is ok, but I got the Optical Wireless in place of it.

OK, just about everything came in, I'm getting ready to backup all of my shit to disc, and make the big swap. First, I need to ask a favor of you guys:
I'm looking for 2 of the fan brackets to fit an 80MM case fan. If you have an alienware-type case (The one with the ribs and door. . .ahem: )
Ok, now see those 2 purple things in the back of the case, where the fans go? Those are brackets to hold the fan in place. I'm looking for 2 more like that to fit the front. Can anyone hook a brother up?

Cameltoe, disregard. I'm going to stick with just the two rear fans that take air out of the case.
So here's a few pics of what I've done with what I got so far:
1) I drilled a hole in the front of the case, and placed the switch for the Cold Cathode lights in the plastic bezel, as you can see here:

2) Here's a closer look at the switch. Those little specs are just from the cameras resolution, I was pretty impressed at how it fit:

3) Here's a look at the inside of the case. The blue box is the 500W Enermax power supply. The blue rectangle at the bottom of the case is the power source for the 2 cold cathode lights. If you look to the left, you can see one, the green strip going up the case, and the other ones hidden along the bottom wall. the 4 golden-brass strips in the middle are the 4 RAM peices, they all have copper plated heatsinks. To the left of them is the CPU heatsink.

4) Here's a closer look at the insides. You can clearly see the CPU golden heatsink in this pic, and the tubes at the top and bottom are for the water cooling. Like I said, I'm still not done with the setup yet, probably this weekend.

I did the window. Decided on cutting it myself, as the door handle was too big and obstructed the rubber peice. As you can see, there's still some glue spots that I have to get rid of (the white lines around the edges). I'll take care of that tonight with some water and a razor. Overall, what do you think?

Never liked the thought of watercooling myself. It may be quiet yes but the thought of electricity and water being seperated by a couple of mm of plastic tubing just doesn't sit well with me. ed:
