The Springfield is more accurate at long range than a MG. So to say the MG takes no skill is wrong. So many people use it wrong. They don't yet have that skill.

Any weapon is fine by me. Each one takes its own skills. Not just shooting skills but movement strategy.

Shotty? Fine. Just don't let him get close.
Sniper? Fine. Just sneak up close to him.
Rockets? Fine. Let him get 1 kill and blow himself up.
How can rockets be lame? Let's see if you can get the hight score with them.
