I have the MOHAA 1.11 patch and the spearhead 2.15 patch but on each of their setups it says 'could not find UK or US version of MOHAA on your computer' or something like that. I have got MOHAA+spearhead installed to 'C:\ Program Files\EA Games\MOHAA' I can't play online if i don't have the patch help please!!!!!!
cry: i am so upset,
bigzooka: i wish i could blow somthing up
cool: i'd look cool for a bit
hake: i'd look sad and say sorry
angel: then i'd be an angel again
fire1: there goes my bad temper again!!!
In the registry i do not have EAGAMES/Medal of Honor i have Electronics Arts/Medal of Honour Allied Assault and then 'ergc' which I think shows my registation code on the cd case. There is no key called 1.1.12.xxx or anything like that. I have Windows ME, would that make any difference? And i'm sure that i have a UK or US version.
cry: i'm upset as i
swordfight: struggle with my patches
oOo: i'm very confused
cool: i want to get them sorted
M16: before i blow them all to hell!
[quote="Bazooka_Joe":2a1f8]That's my concern. If it's not a valid copy, those regkeys might have not copied to the correct place. That's why I asked.[/quote:2a1f8]
Yes, you may be right. But I think this only happens when the warez version is 'ripped', as in: Not the downloaded CD's. I know the most popular downloadable warez copies is an English (UK/US?) version, writing a different language code to the registry (not 200).
The 'ripped' versions may write other registry keys, indeed.
Is it okay to discuss matters as the above post of mine? I believe it is, considering other posts I have seen...or is it too much on the warez-side?
Nope. You aren't talking about where you can get it, or anything like that. Talking about places to get it is not allowed. Talking about the fact that it might be warezed is the root of your problem, that's something different.
