Default Gurkhas. Final draft. - 04-10-2003, 05:29 PM

Heres my final attempt at posting some pictures of Gurkhas in combat in the hope they might inspire some clever skins designer to tackle the subject. cool: The effort spent in trying to bring you these images has been a long and rocky road. Much hardship has been endured throughout, and indeed, at times, it was certainly a struggle just trying to maintain ones dignity. But today, I'am proud to present these two slightly larger than required images. I know its hard to tell colours from a black and white pic but standard British Army khaki brown seems a fair bet on uniform colour. I know you cant really see any regimental badges on the shoulders but Ive inlcuded one of the Gurkha regiments badges anyway. Lets bring the scary fighting men from nepal into the MOHAA world . Praise to those, without whoms advice, I would not have been able to bring you these images today. Should anyone out there feel that these pictures may infringe any copyright violations owned by them, sue me... But please remember, I'm not intending to profit from them and I have 4 almost orphaned kids to feed. It may reflect badly on you. Bye for now.

There have been several Gurkha Regiments within the British Army since the Empire days. The badge shown is off the Royal Gurkha Rifles. These guys, born and bred in the high country of Nepal fought in all theatres during World War 2. Much feared by the Germans, mostly in part due to their famous 'kukri' or 'kukhuri' (whichever you prefer) curved blades, designed specifically for removing the heads of Unfortunate adversaries. This meant their reputation on the battlefield often preceded them. Its rumoured, by many, that certain Argentine units on the Falkland islands surrendered their defended positions as soon as word 'got out' that these guys were moving in. They were known for being short and stocky, I dunno what difficulty this brings to a potential 'skinner'. Comments welcome.
