Everything is in Usenet.. no browser required, no popups, no ads, no bullshit. Takes 10 minutes for the usenet newbie to figure out how to configure his email client to access the usenet. but alas 10 minutes to set it up isnt as easy as asking for links to a page that is ussually bogus with 10 popups a minute.
Everything is free in the usenet, just avoid the groups that lawyers and cops troll in... warez groups and child porn.
