half life 2 is scheduled for sept 30th 2003, so this year.

it's not just now being made, its just now being announced. They said they began working on it right after the release of half life.

I'm glad they are taking their sweet time.

Hopefully this game will come out on a sweet ass engine. I can't imagine the possibilities of this, especially with the mods.

september 2003.

i kind of get confused about the stroyline, because in this game, gordon freeman, the hero of the first game returns. i remebered the ending of blueshift, hwere you are teleported to all these places and one place there was an opening, and through that opening you could see 2 soldiers dragging along freeman as if he was dead.

they said it will squeek by on a 700mhz computer, but they're really saying they're aiming for around a 2.0ghz, geforce 4 requirment.

in the article they said they were runing at 70fps with full detail on, with a 1.7ghz geforce4 ti4200
