I always hear about them in movies and books and i never knew what it meant? And whats the difference between a non-commissioned officer and a commissioned officer?

CO Is like Lt. And above. hence they get payed more, i guess biggrin:

A NCO doesnt go thru Officer Training School like a commisioned officer does.

Do you even know what an CO is, or stands for??
Your "CO" is your Commanding Officer in your unit, wether it be a Captain, Lieutenant or a Colonel. The rest are "superiors".
As for NCO's... it's not just a "fancy" word as Vance said. It simply means what it says... "Non-Commisioned". 2nd Lieutenants and up are "commisioned" so to speak.
Another thing Vance got mixed up... NCO's are not only Sergeants, but Corporals and Lance Corporals are, too.
Get it right, niggers... biggrin:
