[Oddball]

My little review of DoD v1.0

Brits are awesome cos now we have a rail gun to waste ze Germans like they have been doing to us since Beta 1. evil:

Bren is cool, Brit voice cmds are funny as hell, new sounds, models and textures all are great. New maps are really fun too.

Downside, the game has gotten REALLY laggy for everyone now. I ususally get pings of 50-100 on servers in my area, now it's 400+. I hope they fix the netcode soon, some maps are murder to play on.

Also the bazookas, piats and panzerschreks are really fun now. It's not like MOHAA where they are a noob cannon. They are really hard to use and splash damage is almost nil cos these are anti armour weapons not anti infantry. On the map Forest they are really fun to use because you can blow up bunkers and shit. Also the sound is reeeally cool. Incredibly frightening as you are crouching in a trench and you hear one being fired then this huge KABOOM!

I just hope they sort out the lag issue. Other wise two thumbs up.
