in my mind this is how players progress in skill based on weapon of choice:

-Bazooka & shotty=n00b

-mg's = begins to memorise maps and learn the tricks of the trade

-smg'S = amateur or semi-pro the people are VERY good with their weapon of choice but lack the accuracy on reflex shots to be a challenge

- m1's and snipers= these peeps think they are all that, sure they are most accruate players than the others but an m1' is just a smg with a small clip wheras the snipers at this level are good, very good, near pro but arnt able to fight face to face agasint anything other than another sniper

- riflers= the cream of the crop, who needs a scope to sniper, rifles are just as accurate and they reload faster! reflex shots are easy , maps are known better than the palm of thweir hand. (my level, no joke im not a ego brat who likes to brag, i just know my level)
