Dude, the MP5PDW has be around since the 80's.
My favourite 9mm SMG would have to be the MP5SD6

shhhh....
However, the IMI para micro UZI is tempting:

[quote="Sgt Stryker":01761]My personal fave 9mm weapon is the MP-5 (maybe because I'm a Stargate nut) but I prefer the .45 M-1911 over the M-9 Beretta.
H&K made a new MP-5 called the PDW (personal defense weapon), it's a smaller MP-5 with folding stock, folded up it's not much bigger than a large pistol (like desert eagle), it's designed for pilots and aircraft crew.[/quote:01761]
MP-5 is a sweet weapon, I've fired them. UZI's are great too, though I think the MP-5 handles better in terms of accuracy.
As Far as a pistol, SIG SAUR P-226. biggrin:

Yeah, and you can't go wrong with a glock 18 select fire with a 33 round mag and a trijion reflex sight.

I like the AK47 it can be purchased here in America. I'll buy one and then throw it away because it's useless. Why would I need a machine gun anyway? It's not like I'm gonna be in a gang fight or anything...
Wait a minute...what if I crash my plane in enemy territory and I don't have any thing to defend myself with? I'm doomed!!! cry:

Uhh hake: I wish people who claim they know what they are talking about as far as weapons are concerned would atleast try and get SOME facts straight. That weapon is the MP5K PDW. There is no "MP5 PDW". However, there is a PDW as was shown earlier in this thread. If you do want to call the PDW anything else, it would be MP7.

The 9mm round is vastly inferior to the .45. IMO - The Uzi, etc. can use it because the gun makes up for the round's deficiencies by spraying so many of them out there. In the immortal words of G. Gordon Liddy, "If the 9mm had any stopping power, the Pope would be dead."

I'd rather have a Beretta 92FS that fires a 9mm round at 1110fps with a 15 round mag rather than a Colt 1911 that fires .45acp from a 7 round mag at 850fps. It's all about the muzzle velocity. However, if you wanna get the best of both worlds...... USP45 Match; the Tomb Raider gun.

Be prepared to pay $$$ for one because Heckler & Koch stopped poduction on this particular model a few years back.

you shouldnt have crashed. Its not allowed. Now if you were shot down ok, I could understand. n e ways. Pilots always have atleast a small side arm. Some prefer to carry small rifles for the better range.
