Hold It! I'm thinking of China Beach(smacks self in the face). Tour of Duty was OK. Good firefights.

i've seen most of them... i have one burning question about it though which i havent been able to figure out. how come like later in the series, the main characters change unifroms to camo fatigues? before they'd always hve the plain green uniforms. then all of a sudden, they have camo? know what i mean?

they got assigned to a special operations group, which is about the same time that the CIA rat-bastard Fontaine showed up mad:
When did they start showing Tour Of Duty on History Channel?
or is this the Canadian one? cry:

SOG in the Vietnam war (if this is what you are referring it too) did not stand for "Special Operations Group". It stood for "Studies and Observation Group".
And Con Brio, most soldiers who wore disruptive pattern material were Special Forces (Army Green Beret) or Special Ops units like SEALs or UDT's. Other units like US Army Rangers, Australian Special Air Service and the South Vietnamese units trained under those soldiers also wore camouflage gear.
