The thick clothing thing is true, blood wouldnt spurt thru it. Full metal jaccket entrance wounds are small.

But regardless, Joe is right, the game didnt have blood because EA does not release M (mature) rated games. Which means about half of the kiddies on the board should be happy for it, so mommy and daddy will let you play and never know about the simple bod mod patch.

[quote="Chronic Diarrhea":b9ddf]Realistic blood would be mortar shells and artillery blowing off limbs. Rifle and SMG shots to a clothed area would not make blood fly on the ground. If a soldier is shot in a clothed area all you should see is blood on his clothes, not on the ground. The only time there should be visible blood on the ground is if a person was shot in the face, artillery round blew the hell out of him, or a heavy machine gun hit the soldier multiple times. I would much rather see blood stains on the model rather than seeing it on the ground. I don't use blood mods for MOHAA, I see no use in it.[/quote:b9ddf]

Blood mods can be handy from a distance to see if you;re actually landing your shots on players but they look pretty dumb too.

Actually, I see the original body hit puff a lot better from both CQC and distance.

agreed

and it would be nice if they added limbs being blown off, but only like if a tank blows them in, not like falling from a height (RTCW comes to mind)
Actually the theory behind that blood was proved right a long time ago. If you;re wearing a uniform with many layers of clothes the only way you're gonna see blood "squirting" out is if an exposed part of your body is hit, if it hits you where you're clothed than you're not gonna get some retarded looking "squirt" of blood flying everywhere. Obviously it would have to seep through the uniform which would take some time.

And sclass in rtcw you dont get "gibbed" by falling from ladders, that only happens if you're blown up in some way.
No, you can get gibbed from falling and dieing

/\ I am pretty sure if there is an exit wound there would be a splatter out the other end. I may buy the lots of clothes layers bull if it is a winter uniform or something then maybe no splatter. oOo:

Blood and limbs flying off is so over rated oOo: !! Even though blood does make war games more realistic, it is not something that makes or breaks a game! ...You freaking sadistic people... Anyway CoD is going to blow this game away! You know why? Because Activion CARES about people that support their games... C-c--c--cares? Not something you get too often from EA with MoH is it?

Here check out http://www.CallofDuty.org Screw EA and support a real war game, made by people who care more about YOU not just the damn profits...

yes, i mean, just look at what they did to RTCW:ET, Activision and id listened to what people said, and put them in the game. They actually made patches to fix stuff, not create more bugs. Also look at what they did to THPS4, they listened to what the people said, and included it. EA just rides out on all the money they make from the game, then shut off everyone trying to contact them because they already made their money

Well I'm not here to EA bash. Everyone knows they suck already, But your right. Activision cares not only about the products they come out with, but the people that buy the game and enjoy it. They will provide updates, patches, map packs and the big one...No more cheating in MP!!!! biggrin:
