Help with Spearhead custom map problem....

I'm getting a black sky on all of my custom maps in SP. The same maps have the correct sky pattern in AA. Apparently some map has caused a problem with my skies but I'm not sure where to look for the problem. ANy ideas or should I just re-install? Thanks.

Oh yeah, there is also a "black fog" over the maps that prevent seeing for long distances. Really weird.

I had a similar problem when i first installed maps. Try mucking around with the advanced and video settings in options, if you havent already. Thats what i did and i dont get the problem now. They want to be on at least a medium level of detail, I'm fairly sure. Texture compression may have something to with it as well. Wish i could be more specific. I'm sure someone will have better knowledge than me. I'm assuming you have a reasonably decent video card...mines is only ge-force 2 but its good enough.

Well, I had already tried that and it didn't alleviate the problem. Who knows... Anyway, I've reinstalled both AA and SP which ain't no big deal except for adding all the mods I had been using. Guess I'll have to be careful and check the maps one at a time as I add them to find the culprit....
