But anyways, I thought you should all know at 9AM EST this morning, their new CD, which is to arrive in stores on June 10th, can now be played over any radio station in the US. Howard Stern played two songs this morning, and I actually had to listen (I wanted to wait for the entire CD). He played the song "St. Anger", also the CD's title, and it sounded pretty damn good.
i would have reviewed it but since i am the final word on all that is metal...i couldnt do it...its different though...it is a bit angry..its listenable but its nothing to froth over...you numetal/limp triscuit/k0rn/Sytsem of a Linkin Logs homos will eat it up though...now the new Nasum...thats something to write home about
yeah i figured from your musical taste you favor the more traditional front man stlye ala Dickinson. He has an amazing voice..almost epic or operatic in quality. Most of my meat and potatoes favors a more unrefined and raw vocal style..more akin to old school punk and hardcore or the throaty indoctrinations of Lee Dorian or Lemmy Killmeister...eh oOo:
I just heard St. Anger on WRIF. Please tell me the rest of the album is better than that. Please. If they fail after "going back to their roots" they're done. Finished. Oh well... at least Justice was good.
I heard the new song, I belive it was St. Anger. Now keep in mind I do like OLD Metallica, but this new song really sucks. It's got no seet rythm and it's very...unorganized. It sounds like System of a Down in some parts. I hope the rest of the CD is better.
