Nevermind about smaller, ecologically friendly packaging, we're saving the environment by downloading it - no packaging at all. Ha ha.

Damn I don't like this.

The big ass boxes I'm used to that always have an opening front fold will not be used for MoH:AA.

Bummer. I was really looking forward to one.

The SIMS have the same type of box. Probably because its made by the same company. thats not really new then.

Somehow I doubt The Sims has the same box size as MOHAA, if it did they would have mention it in the press report...

MOHAA will be the first game to have it...

....first game from EA that is.

i think it's a great idea. i always wondered why they used such big boxes. such a waste of space. these smaller boxes might also prevent the cd from bouncing around. i hate when i open up the box, only to find a cracked and damaged cd case. oh, and games have been using these smaller boxes already. i've seen Rollercoaster Tycoon use them. much more sleek and less clumsy looking.

This is suppose to be a new standard for PC game boxes. I'm happy about it. Boxes shouldn't be that big unless they're holding 20+ floppy disks

Front fold flaps are awesome...and about the CDs banging around in the box, they should have a little enlosed space for the CD to be in.

BTW, the box picture looks even cooler than I thought before...the back of the box is what sucks. They are too serious on that game...anyone ever notice the wording? It's serious, instead of bragging about the level design, advanced A.I., etc. If anyone knows what I mean.

Im glad of this, personally I was hoping for a dvd case but oh well.

I always felt like I was getting ripped off with those huge boxes. They always seem like such a waste of space.

It's a shame though, the big boxes always get pride of place on the software shelves. At my local EB the DVD cases get crammed onto one of those christmas tree spinning things and it's really hard to find anything.
