the only way the mp games will be more tactful is you are playing with a clan (i hate that word) against another clan. otherwise, it will almost always turn into a deathmatch.

Im suprised at how few ppl use the walk key. theres nothing more satisfying than sneaking up on some camping sniper and taking him out from behind. when your walking, no one can hear you coming, I love that.

for my first topic on this forums. How will you all play moh:aa? I for one would very much rather play it like saving private ryan or band of brothers rather than some quake deathmatch type game.
I hope a lot of people do. As i have heard there is going to be a ultra realistic option in the game for games to be like this and i hope you can turn on/off what weapons will be in it, i hate to see 20 people running around shooting rockets at each other.
What do you all hope to play multiplayer like?

I would love to play like that. That's why I enjoy the single player game. The enemys use somekind of stratagy when attacking you. It seems to me, and maybe I just haven't played on the right servers yet, that most games are simply played as a run and gun frag fest, where the worst player ends up using the rocket laucher because they are tired of not hitting anything with any other weapon.

I'm not the best at this game by any means, but I'm not playing it to get the most kills or have some sort of stupid street cred, I'm playing it for fun. I'm sure I'll get flamed for my opinions because they are not the same opinions that a lot of other posters here have, but I guess that's what happens when your not exactly like everyone else on the forum.

im hoping for a better "realism mod" myself.

limit the rockets.

reduce the accuracy of the machine guns. i cant count the number of times ive seen some guy shooting full auto from distance and hitting the target with spot on accuracy. that just isnt raelistic, short burts i can beleive but not some johnny l33t quakzor just going full auto.

MG wouldnt fire realistically that accurate, even mounted its not going to be that accurate while being fired full auto.

I hope it wont be like the quake deathmatch either. I hope it will be more tactfull instead of a "John Wayne" style fighting, I think this can be done without a supreme realistic mod, but rather than a server that takes the game more seriously than others
