How to setup a server without shotgun

Yeah, I'm sure I want to disable that awful shit-for-brains-shotgun. Skillz have nothing to do with it. It's a shotgun for gods sake, It's not even supposed to be in this fucking game! Why don't they bring in Japanese suicedebombers and shot too? Can't belive EA left out weapons like the carbine just to fit in this piece of crap? Maybe they was afraid to loose the OH-SO-SKILLED Quake and fuckin CS-players?

This has to be the sorriest, most rehashed topic in this forum. To borrow from the movie Silverado: Have you seen what an M1 Garand can do in the hands of someone who knows how to use it? A good player with an M1 will dominate anyone with a shotgun.

To disable the shitgun, delete the shotgun.tik in the pak0.pk3/models/weapons directory on the servercomputer. When somebody joins the server and chooses the shotgun he'll end up with a sidearm and some grenades.

That's cool...As a KAR 98K Mauser user myself it'll be great to see this weapon removed...However Shotgun does require some skillz to master...You sure you wanna disable it?

shotgun. who uses a shotgun. its inaccurate after a certain distance. might as well use a m-1 garand.
