It's not dumb (after-all, exactly what trouble could it possibly lead to?) but it's rather pointless.

In fact, if you really think about it... There has been less lockage around these forums for a while now. There's been a few good quality threads as well (for once).

I don't lock threads for the sake of locking threads. People complain that this place needs cleaning up and there's too much stupid shit. Then when you try to weed out the stupidity, you get fucking shit on for being a nazi.
