Hello all,i have writen a medal of honor Server program in C++, the reason for this action was because the Original Mohaa server software by EA games is writen is Visual Basics all know VB is a LOT slower than C++, Anywayz im hopeing a lot of clans will use this software it will akllow a lot more players on a lower spec machine, Sounds stupid? well infact 'No' because l;ike i said C++ uses half the recources than VB, we did a test a few days back on the following machine:

1.2Ghz
256 sdram
1Mbit [CABLE]

The server had 34 players and no lag, but the 1Mbit cable was a dedicated connection (ONLY USED FOR THAT SERVER) so i would say 25 players and no lag if you played mohaa on the same connection, here was the states when the server had 34 players:

CPU: 28%
RAM: 52%
CONNECTION: 96%

Im not a fan of Strik0r but the post did say something like "OMG!!! Hi2U!!! EVETRYONE MUST READ THIS!!! OMG!!!" or something like that. A more simple topic was in order methinks.

That being said I will be checking the website and seeing if what he has to offer could benefit AAN.

ffs, listen this thread is more for those that run servers not for plp to Critasize my fucking work, and btw no the thread didnt say OMG OMG it said: ---=== MUST READ ===--- stop Bitching about it ffs, this Software Owns the EA Games Mohaa_Server.exe software by FAR, dont belive me? then thats your choice check some big clan servers a lot use ASH Beta Test i have not long had my forums open soon il have my site up the reason i asked u to join the forums is so the word spreads and when ASH is ready to release a lot of Servers will move to it, and you the Cry about Lagg and Servers beeing full, There will be a lot less Lagg if plp use my Software.

Not just to play better, but it also helps those that have to pay for a server, My software ¤-ASH-¤ uses a lot less CPU and RAM than the standad EA Games version so for those that have 1.2Ghz and 256 sdram with a 1Mbit Cable modem could easy run a 24 player server with no lag at all as it has been tested by my self and the well nown Mohaa Crew Clan now if that was EA games version you would be lucky to get 10 players...

I wonder why EA used such and outdated language for thei server software???

maybe because they have a little deal with server companies (ie. they get money for making it inefficient and bringing greater profit for server companies)
