What program are you using? do you need to convert the model into a skin or do you mean you need to texture it?

im using milkshape 3d, i need to convert the model into a skin.

I might be wrong but I don't think you can create a weapon model with milkshape. You need to create an skd and skc. i dont know how to convert the mesh into a skin with milkshape.
