N3O-=E=-Scopes -

I downloaded these scopes and there supposed to have three different colors for the center dot but when I used them ingame the center dot didn't have color. Has anyone else who has used this scope had the same problem and is there a way I can fix it? eek: cry:

did you put the right pk3s in your main folder that were in the zip file? There should be a set for green, red, and black....maybe you put the black ones in

I tried all of them and none of them work, other scopes that I've used with color worked fine except these ones and I have a file that makes colored scopes show up in Spearhead. I guess I'll just use a different one then. mwah: freak: M16:

Just make sure you put a copy in the MAIN and a copy in the MAINTA as well. My scopes are black for SpearHead until I copy the PK3 over to the MAINTA folder. After you do that its all good.
Double check the scope by opening up the PK3 (use winrar, I do) and make sure there are 2 folders... one called Textures and one called Scripts. Look in the Scripts folder and make sure there is a file called 'new_hud.shader'.
You can always check the tga's in the texture>hud folder with Photoshop to see if the reticle has color. Just zoom to about 800% in the corner of the scope and see if its in color. If not then the scope will be black and you probably got the wrong scope version in.

did the scopes come with a specific shader that enables color to be shown?

Just download another scope, take the shader out of that and use it. Remember the original scopes in Mohaa have no colors in them.

Ok, but do I have to use a certain program to replace the shader cause I tried just overwriting the shader with another one and it makes the scope not work anymore. mwah:

That didn't work so I took the first scopes he made and changed the color but when I tested it, half the scope was on the top and the other half on the bottom. I read a scope tutorial and followed the directions exactly but it still was messed up, can anyone help, heres the screenshot:

Just open up the Pk3 and rename the tgas. Call the top one bottom and vice versa.
