Do I need the cd in the driver in order to play?

Only reason I am asking is because I am at work and have not opened the box yet since I bought it.

goto www.gamecopyworld.com Download the patch. This will allow you to play the game without having the disc 1 in your cd drive.

I don't need the CD in the drive to play, SP or MP.
