Pick up "Horror Show" or "Something Wicked This Way Comes", Akuma. Friggin' awesome albums.

Akuma, based on the fact that you like Opeth, Dimmu Borgir, and those black/death metal bands, i would recommend Burnt Offerings, my favorite Iced Earth cd. its amazing. Burnt Offerings, Last December, Creator Failure, Brainwashed, Diary, and not to mention the most amazing metal song of the millennium Dante's Inferno. this album is more than amazing, its a piece of art. but yes, the cd's zoner recommended are very good, something wicked this way comes is my 2nd favorite Iced Earth cd. Horror Show is also good, but no where near the greatness of Burnt Offerings.

You sir, have no taste in music.
|
Akuma, everyone has there different tastes u like black metal, which is my favorite type of music at the moment. if someone said that "perople who like dimmu borgir, opeth have no tastes in music" would u agree ofcourse not. Everyone has differeent tastes, like everyone has different opinions.
Just my two cents. oh yea pennywise sucks

Jotun seems to agree with me. GODSMACK needs to explore the genre further than what they play on they radio. If he did that instead of following what the music industry wants him to listen too then I would respect him.

That's a start. You should really explore the nu metal genre more if your really into it. You'll find some new bands that add twists to the normal. Take Ill Nino for examble. That is the only nu metal band that I respect.

new music just rips off the old. papa roach stole The Trooper riff, Eminem took Dream On, Limp Bizkit butchered Sanitarium, its all a big joke. i like to think i have a good taste in music. i may seem like a big metalhead, but i listen to sooo much more. i listen to progressive metal, fusion, swedish melodic death metal, black metal, speed/thrash metal, jazz, blues, classic rock, hell i can even appreciate classical. im a music freak, nothing i love more than music.

i respect no nu-metal bands at all. i respect bands that give credit to their influences, but they have to actually sound like them. if Limp Bizkit was influenced so much by Metallica, then why the hell do they not sound like them? i dont want them to sound exactly like them, but they sound NOTHING like metallica. Fred Durst needs to end himself.
