i got sent home from work and when i got home the power was on,

that was pretty fucking annoying yet cool to see the streets empty and dark. I got my power around 2 am. I live on long island.

Haha president bushs little speech about the power outage was amusing. he didnt seem to care too much, he couldnt think of anything to say.
I loved how the news teams were making a huge deal out of the powercut, pretty much talking about every possible detail of having no power, right down to the heater of a tropical fish tank.
