Ummm....... those tariffs were only in response to canada not playing fair to begin with. Canada's government subsidies of the lumber industry in particular, were putting many american timber companies and employees out of business. Canada was selling timber at prices below cost and the government made up the difference. Not exactly fair trade or very neighborly of you canada. hake:

Anyway, I dont hate bush, but I dont trust him either. I certainly dont like the way he tries to bully anyone that has a different opinion, I dont think he has a single bit of diplomacy and future leaders will struggle for years to undo the damage he has done and I most especially dont like how he has taken something as tragic as 9/11 and used it almost solely to push forward his personal agenda. It also scares me with how enthusiastic he is about taking away personal rights and freedoms.
