Even if there IS spyware or something 'phoning home', Valve wouldn't waste
time on peons (end users) play-testing some half-finished code: they would
give a kidney to get the cracker, though...

For those of you who downloaded Condition Zero: look on the bright side,
you would never have had the chance to play that version, as it is nowhere
near what the final product will look and play like in November. 'Some' of
the missions will make their way in the final as 'bonus material' but not in
the game itself.

Don't worry, fuckers... they're not after you: they want the big fish.

I heard razor 1911 got busted (not in relation to HL2), but I still see their stuff around on new games.

Yep.

Forgot the leaders name I haven't been around the scene much but he got 18 months. A few members might be left im not sure. Fairlight recently broke up but got back together to.

Can't you just work your way up the ladder ? I mean really start small then go big. It seems like a sdmart idea on valves behalf.
