If your back or arms hurt from playing... -

Whenever I used to play MOHAA or even just sit at the computer for a while, my back would start to hurt, so I looked around for a table or anything that would be more ergonomic and comfortable. I found something called the Comfort Slope, and since I've been sitting at it, I've realized it's helping my back pain. Check out this site and the literature, and you'll understand why it works so well!! http://classicclassrooms.com/page80.htm
Let's see, how long is a "while" in you're opinion? Just wondering cause i use the computer off and on during the day to play games or surf the internet. I never seem to end up with back problems though....
try getting a chair that doesnt make you stoop too low or reach too high. its prolly what you are sitting on, or how long you have to reach for your keyboard/mouse.
I have what is essentially an office desk and one of those high-back executive chairs (sort of like Starship chairs in most sci-fi) and I've never had back problems.
Here's a novel idea. If you're back and/or arms start hurting from being on the comp too much, THEN OFF! Go out and get a life. Its that simple. You're muscles aren't supposed to be doing that kind of activity for that long. Instead of making your muscles even worse off by getting new equipment, try excercising and building them up or just getting off the comp as much.
Ive got a regular kitchen table and a regular bloody chair from the kitchen, and ive never had problems with me back or arm..
Unless ive hurt myself when not sitting at the comp that is..
Or something like that.. rolleyes:
